Allyson Felix was born in November 1985. The American athlete from the track and field competes for the U.S. at dozens of sports events, including the Olympics as well as the World Championships. Over the course of her career, she has been awarded 21 gold and silver medals. She also holds three bronze medals. Felix is a specialist in sprints, which she began when in 9th grade. Recently the sprinter has also been an outspoken advocate for a variety of causes. Felix is one many of the best-known women in the field of athletics. Allyson Nicole Felix was born on in November 18th, 1985 located in Los Angeles. The father of her, Paul Felix, was ordained as a Minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and their mother, Marlean Felix, was the head of school at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed a flair for athletics from the beginning, revealing her athletic abilities when she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her initial tryout and she finished in 2nd position in the 200 meters in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship.
